There are lots of choices this weekend to catch good, local baseball right here at home.

Saturday is Opening Day for the Medford Invitational Tournament, a two-week match-up of ten Little League all-star teams from the area.  All games are played at Columbus Park - click here for a complete schedule.  Festivities begin at 9AM.

Also on Saturday, the Andre Chiefs take on the Wakefield Merchants at 5PM at Playstead Park.

On Sunday Medford’s semi-pro teams head out of town.  The Chiefs head to Wakefield for another game against the Merchants at Walsh Field at 5:30PM.  The Medford Americans will play the Watertown Reds at a 5:30PM game at Watertown’s Victory Field.
