Medford’s Michael Moschella launches one at Columbus Park Monday night.

The Medford Invitational Tournament is well underway, and while some serious baseball is taking place, the smell of fried foods and music between innings lends a carnival-like atmosphere to Columbus Park. 

So far the Medford All-Star team has steamrolled past the competition, most recently defeating Everett Monday night to improve their record to 3-0.  Medford should have its work cut out when it takes on Newton Wednesday at 8PM.

Wakefield and Malden take the field tonight at 8PM.
