On Saturday, September 8 thousands of plastic yellow ducks will “race” down the Mystic River and lucky ducks that cross the finish line first will win one of several prizes, including a brand new 2008 Saturn Sky Roadster.

The race will take place from 10:30AM-4:30PM at the Condon Shell and is being held in conjunction with the Medford Arts Festival, which means there will be plenty of opportunity for food, fun, and music.  Channel 5 meteorologist JC Monahan will host the festivities.

The Medford Chamber of Commerce is holding the race to raise money for its philanthropic activities.  For more information and to adopt a duck, visit the Chamber’s website or pick up adoption papers at Colleen’s, ERA Andrew Realty, City Hall, the Medford Public Library, and the Medford Transcript.
