City Council Meets Tonight, Lincoln-Kennedy School on Agenda

The City Council will meet tonight at 7PM at City Hall. One item on the agenda is a pending $2.3 million sale of the former Lincoln-Kennedy School to Woburn’s North Shore Construction and Development, Inc.

The developer has proposed fifty housing units, eight of which will be affordable. Four of the affordable units will be set aside for Medford residents and the other four units will be made available to artists.

The units will be one and two bedroom townhouses ranging from 1,100-1,500 square feet in size. Each unit will have two parking spaces and there will be five visitor spots. Fifty parking spots on Yale Street have been planned for neighborhood parking.

Check back with InsideMedford.com later for a report on the meeting.
