Police Look for Suspect in Armed Bank Robbery

Medford Police, in conjunction with the Boston FBI office, are searching for a suspect wanted for an armed robbery Thursday evening of the Citizens Bank in Medford Square.

Around 6PM Thursday the suspect walked into Citizens Bank at 1 Riverside Avenue armed with a gun. He announced it was a bank robbery and took an undisclosed amount of money from the tellers. He then fired one shot into the air and fled on foot. No one was injured.

According to FBI spokeswoman Gail Marcinkiewicz, the suspect is a white male, 5’7″, who was last seen wearing a Yankees baseball hat and Rawlings batting gloves.

    Medford has got to put more police on and clean up this city that has been in a downward spiral for a while now.
