More of the white stuff has been falling from the sky since the morning and commuters will again be in for another messy commute.

The National Weather Service has issued a snow advisory for Medford and the surrounding area, and Medford could see 3-6 inches pile up over the next few hours.

The snow advisory is in effect until 8PM.  Snow is expected to mix with rain later in the afternoon, making travel hazardous.

Two to four inches of snow had already fallen by 10AM, and at least one more inch is expected before 4PM.

Snow advisories are issued when periods of snow are expected to cause difficulties on the road.  Commuters should use caution and should be prepared for slick roads and limited visibilities.

As of 11:38AM, the city has not issued a snow emergency and normal winter parking restrictions are in effect.

On its website, the city reminds residents that snow and ice removal from sidewalks adjoining residential properties is the law, and it is the responsibility of the property owner, tenant, or occupant.
