Medford Police are looking for a suspect that robbed Eastern Bank on Riverside Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect, a white male, walked in Eastern Bank at 401 Riverside Avenue around 4PM Wednesday and passed a note to a teller demanding cash in an envelope. Police say no weapon was shown at the time.

The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police in Medford and Watertown believe this could be the same man that ripped off a Watertown bank on December 28, as both robbers share similar physical features.

Anyone with any information regarding these robberies is asked to call Medford Police Inspectional Services Unit at 781-391-6776 or Watertown Police detectives at 617-972-6540.
