Boloco Celebrates 11th Birthday, Customers Get Present

BolocoOn February 24, 1997, three guys with a shared love for burritos opened up their first restaurant across from the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Fast-forward eleven years, and Boloco, which recently won Boston.com’s “Burrito Battle,” is now in thirteen different locations and counting.

To celebrate, the burrito chain is offering its customers the present- special deals on burritos and smoothies all week long. From now through Thursday, March 6, customers can enjoy a specially-selected burrito or smoothie each day, for $3 or $2, respectively.

Here’s the list of specials, provided by Sal Airo-Farulla, manager of Boloco’s Medford location at 340 Boston Avenue:

Wednesday, February 27- small Mango Passion smoothie
Thursday, February 28- regular Teriyaki Burrito
Friday, February 29- regular Caesar Burrito
Saturday, March 1- small POM Smoothie (new)
Sunday, March 2- regular Mediterranean Burrito
Monday, March 3- regular Summer Burrito
Tuesday, March 4- any regular Breakfast Burrito
Wednesday, March 5- small Berry Blitz Smoothie
Thursday, March 6- regular Buffalo Burrito
