Cape Wind supporters rallied in Medford Square near Congressman Ed Markey’s office Thursday afternoon. The activists want the Congressman to support the creation of a wind farm off of the Cape Cod coast. Rep. Markey has yet to take a position on the issue. According to Susan Altman of the Medford Climate Action Network, a local off-shoot of the Massachusetts Climate Action Network, Rep. Markey staffer Mark Gallagher sent the group a statement later in the day that said the Congressmen would support the project as long as it passes the required environmental review.
