Run Part of 2-Day Telethon to Raise Money for Jimmy Fund

Medford native, Boston Marathon Race Director, and possible glutton for punishment Dave McGillivray completed a 54-mile run Thursday- from Fenway to Hopkinton and back- in an effort to raise money for the Jimmy Fund. The event was part of a 2-day telethon that has raised over $1,000,000. Today’s run was one of many McGillivray has completed over the years in the name of charity. McGillivray is pictured above with two young cancer survivors at Fenway Park.
