Boys Hockey Clinches GBL Title
|Mustangs Remain Unbeaten in GBL
The Medford boys varsity ice hockey team officially clinched the Greater Boston League title with a 3-0 victory over Somerville on Saturday.
The team so far remains unbeaten in the GBL and has its last league game against Everett on Saturday.
The Mustangs are 5-0 in the GBL and are 6-4 overall.
The Mustangs are led by captain Steve Servideo, assistant captains Brett Cavallaro, Josef Danilchuk, and Steve Mearn, goalies Michael Gendreau and Jimmy Cecchini, forwards Greg Wilson, John Ghiozzi, Billy Ivey, Matt White, Tommy Lee, CJ Bourque, Shaun McConnell, Chris Silva, Nick Adrizzoni, Brian Enos, Guy Leone, Tyler Zizzo, and Patrick Trainor, and defenders Nick Borges, Corbin Aurilio, Kyle Doran, and Cameron Howard. The team is coached by Head Coach Chuck Allen and assistant coaches Joe Deroeve and Bob Goodwin.
