McGlynn School Wind Turbine Unveiled

Towering over the McGlynn School complex and visible from Route 93, Medford’s first wind turbine and the first commercial-scale wind turbine to be installed at a public school in Massachusetts is a 131-foot demonstration of Medford’s commitment to clean energy.

The wind turbine was unveiled in a special dedication ceremony on Thursday.  Video of the ceremony is below, courtesy MHS-TV 15:
