City to Sell Fulton School

Developer Proposes Condos

The sale of the Fulton School will come before the City Council for consideration at its Tuesday night meeting.

The developer, Rich Mar Real Estate Development, Co., Inc, of Medford, has bid $630,000 for the old school. According to information released by City Clerk Edward Finn, the developer plans to remove the portable classrooms and renovate the existing building to accommodate eleven two-bedroom condominiums, one of which will be affordable.

The Fulton School, located on Fulton Street in the Heights section of Medford, was formerly used as an elementary school and as a school for special needs students.
