Sen. Jehlen “Goes Red” for Women

Sen. Jehlen goes red

On Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009, State Senator Patricia Jehlen (D-Somerville, Medford) joined many of her legislative colleagues to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke for women. According to the American Heart Association, the event’s sponsor, heart disease is the number one killer of women. Legislators of all political stripes and from all parts of the state donned red and came together at the State House to champion this important cause. Sen. Jehlen is pictured in the first row at the far right.
