Big Names at Tufts for Media Forum
|4th Annual Murrow Forum Considers Media’s Impact on Public Servants
MSNBC commentator Chris Matthews, former Massachusetts Governor and presidential nominee Michael Dukakis, and WCVB Channel 5 investigative reporter Janet Wu were the featured speakers for Tufts University’s fourth annual Edward R. Murrow Forum on Issues in Journalism. The forum, which focused this year on “Digging too Deeply? Headlines, Politics, and Public Service,” has attracted big names, including Dan Rather, Ted Koppel, and Tom Brokaw. Tufts’ Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy is home to the Edward R. Murrow Center for Public Diplomacy, which contains many of Murrow’s papers. Photo by Alonso Nichols/Tufts University. All images copyright 2009 Trustees of Tufts College.
