The Medford Mustang varsity girls lacrosse and softball teams will take on their opponents under the lights for the first night games of the spring season this week.

On Thursday night, Head Coach Matt Galusi and the varsity girls lacrosse team will take on non-leaguer Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute at 7PM at Hormel Stadium.  The girls are 2-0 in the Greater Boston League and 4-5 overall.  They have two more home night games on the schedule- one against Malden on Monday, May 4 and another against Cambridge on Wednesday, May 13, which will also be senior night.

Head Coach Jack Dempsey and the varsity girls softball team will be looking for another GBL win when Cambridge comes to play on Friday night at 7PM at Tufts Park. After destroying Head Coach George Scarpelli’s Somerville 17-1 on Wednesday, the Mustangs are currently 3-1 in the GBL and 3-6 overall.
