City Commission for Persons with Disabilities Honors Tufts’ Community Relations Director

Barbara Rubel receives Disability Award

Tufts University Director of Community Relations Barbara Rubel received the 2009 Disability Awareness Award in a special ceremony on Wednesday, June 24 at Medford City Hall.

The Medford Commission for Persons with Disabilities is recognizing Rubel for “her support and commitment to equality and independence for people with disabilities.” Rubel received the award in ceremony in Mayor Michael McGlynn’s office at 4PM on Wednesday afternoon.
