Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray was in the area Tuesday night for a fundraiser at John Brewer’s Tavern in Malden. Murray is pictured above with restaurant owner and Medford resident Bill Honeycutt. The lieutenant governor is the second high-profile politician to visit John Brewer’s that week, as New York City mayor and Medford native Michael Bloomberg stopped by the restaurant the previous Saturday after attending Senator Ted Kennedy’s funeral.

Below, Murray is with fundraiser organizers Stacey Ober (left) and Medford resident Gloria Craven. Craven and Ober authored and published “Massachusetts Nurse Practitioners Step Up As One Solution to the Primary Care Access Problem: A Political Success Story” on behalf of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners’ in next month’s national journal, Policy, Politics & Nursing Practice.

The event for Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray held on Tuesday September 1 at John Brewer’s Tavern in Malden was organized by Medford resident Gloria Craven along with her business partner Stacey Ober. It was a terrific event.
