Cougars 34, Rams 13
The Arlington Catholic football team opened up their season with a decisive 34-13 victory over Shawsheen Tech. Reading senior Charlie Bates ran 18 times for 245 yards and three touchdowns to help bring home a win for the returning Division 3 Superbowl champions.
