Street-Sweeping Schedule

The following is a tentative street sweeping schedule for the Spring Clean up. This schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions/equipment breakdown, etc. Streets will be posted the day before on telephone poles and windshields, please watch for postings! Your cooperation in removing vehicles from posted streets will assist in the program.

This schedule is subject to change:

Monday, April 5
From Royal St. to Winter Hill & Magoun Sq., Union St to Henry Street

Tuesday, April 6
From Ship Ave. to Craddock Ave. to Spring St to Central Ave to Fellsway-All streets inside these boundaries

Wednesday, April 7
From Spring St. to Cudworth to Salem and all streets inside these boundaries

Thursday, April 8
From Central Ave. to Fellsway West to Forest Street to Cypress Road. All streets inside these boundaries

Friday, April 9
From Fellsway West to Salem Street to Winslow Avenue

Second week as follows:

Monday, April 12
From Fulton St. to Highland Ave., East Border Rd. to Malden line-Elm St. to Fulton St to Fellsway West. All streets inside these boundaries.

Tuesday, April 13
From Roosevelt Rd. to High St, Forest St to Governors Ave. All streets inside these boundaries

Wednesday, April 14
From Governors Ave. to Winthrop St to Winchester line. All streets inside these boundaries.

Thursday, April 15
From Winthrop St to High St. to railroad tracks. All streets inside these boundaries.

Friday, April 16
From railroad tracks to Mystic Valley Parkway to Harvard Ave. All streets inside these boundaries.

Monday, April 19
Holiday, no sweeping.

Tuesday, April 20
From Harvard Ave. to Winthrop St., High Street to Boston Ave. All streets inside these boundaries.

Wednesday, April 21
From Boston Ave. to Somerville line to Mystic River. All streets inside these boundaries.

Note: Due to excessive amounts of sand used this past winter, sweeping may be extended in one area before moving to another section of the city.

The Medford Police Department will be towing.
