‘Spring into Access’ Fair May 12 at City Hall

Free Informational Fair About Health, Education, Elderly Assistance, Other Issues

The city of Medford is holding its annual “Spring into Access” Free Information Fair on Wednesday, May 12 from 4:00-6:30PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

The fair brings together a wide range of federal, state, and local agencies and organizations to provide information and assistance addressing the following issues: Disability, Fair Housing, Elder Issues, Literacy, Health, Transportation, Education, Children & Family Services, Advocacy, and much more.

“During these difficult times, staff and services across the state are being reduced as thousands of individuals are in need of greater access to services they may never have needed before. City, regional, and state services are spread so broadly, they are difficult to access without a broad range of knowledge and a lot of time on your hands,” said Diane McLeod, Medford’s Human Diversity Director.

The fair is free and open to all and is sponsored by the Office of Human Diversity & Compliance, the Medford Human Rights Commission, and the Medford Commission for Persons with Disabilities.
