Local Cops Help Medford Child Cancer Victim

Cops for Kids with Cancer (CFKWC) recently donated a check to the Berenger family of Medford. The family’s youngest member, Jacob, is courageously battling cancer.

“Times are tough for everyone, but to have to endure a battle against cancer in a young child is as tough as it gets. Hopefully, this donation from the Cops for Kids with Cancer is able to help the Berenger family get through that battle with a few less worries,” said Medford Police Lieutenant Paul Covino.

Captain Robert McCarthy of the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office requested that the CFKWC consider the Berenger family for a donation.
