Medford Native Helps College Golf Team Win Title

Giovino, Former MC Standout, Continues Success on the Green at Assumption College

Medford native Rick Giovino, an Assumption College junior and former Malden Catholic golfer, recently helped bring his team to the championship of the Southern New Hampshire University Penmen Invitational at the Country Club of New Hampshire on Columbus Day weekend.

Giovino shot a 78-78–156 and finished in sixth place. His team finished first among eight schools.

The management major is the son of Rick and Dawn Giovino.
