Mustang Football Team Prepares for GBL Match-ups

After struggling against a series of tough, non-league teams, the Mustang football team will begin its Greater Boston League competition this week.

Medford will visit Somerville, 1-3, on Friday night. The Mustangs are off next week and then will host Everett (4-0) on October 29 and Cambridge (1-3) on November 5. Finally, a home match against top-ranked Barnstable on November 12 precedes the Mustangs’ annual Thanksgiving Day Game against Malden. This time the historic rivalry will take place on the Golden Tornadoes’ turf.

In the video below, MHS senior Andrew Ferrazzani talks to Mustang Football coaches Rico DelloIacono and Jason Nascimento about the team’s goals and expectations for their Greater Boston League games.
