Medford, Somerville to Meet in Soccer Quarter Final

Mustangs to Host Highlanders Wednesday Under the Lights

Both the Medford and Somerville boys soccer teams survived another round in the state tournament and will face each other in the quarter final.

Medford topped Brighton, 2-1 on Monday while Somerville beat Madison Park 3-1.

When the Greater Boston League rivals met in the regular season, the teams tied 2-2 on October 4 and the Mustangs bested the Highlanders, 3-2, on September 10.

The game will take place on Wednesday, November 10 at 6:00PM at Medford High School.

The winner will face either Brookline or Lincoln-Sudbury in the semi-final.
