Council to Discuss Plowing, Meeting Cancelled Due to Weather

The Medford City Council had planned to discuss the plowing of snow on the city’s streets during their Tuesday night meeting but that discussion will have to wait because even more snow is falling and the meeting has been cancelled.

City Councilor Robert Penta has offered a resolution to discuss the issue, according to the meeting agenda released by City Clerk Ed Finn.

Four snow storms in the past month have dumped over three feet of snow on the area, and two new storms are expected to bring upwards of a foot on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The next Council meeting will be Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 7PM at Medford City Hall.
