Americans Visit Chiefs Wednesday

The 3-7 Medford Americans will take a trip across town to visit the 5-3 Andre Chiefs on Wednesday, June 29. The Chiefs are hosting the Americans at 6:00PM at Tufts University’s Huskins Field.

On Thursday the Chiefs are scheduled to host the 5-3 Reading Bulldogs, who will be without Bulldog and former pro football player Doug Flutie, who is on vacation.

“It will however be a good game even without him….two very good teams,” said Bulldog General Manager John Halsey in an email.

The game is also at 6:00PM at Huskins Field.

Both teams are off for the holiday weekend and will be back in action next week. On Tuesday, July 5 the top-ranked 9-2 Lexington Blue Sox visit the Chiefs for a 6:00PM game. The Americans host the 2-7 Watertown Reds on Wednesday, July 6 at 6:00PM at Playstead Park.

The Chiefs will host the Arlington Trojans, Moody Dental Tanners, and Watertown Reds next week while the Americans are on the road against Lexington and Arlington. A full game schedule is available online.
