Andre Walk Off 10th Inning Grand Slam Lifts Chiefs Past Lexington, 6-2; Deciding Game 5 Tuesday

Mike Andre hit a walk off grand slam with two outs in the 10th inning to give the Chiefs Game Four of the Championship Series, 6-2 at Pine Banks on Monday night.

The best of five Championship Series is now tied at 2-2 and game five will be played on Tuesday night at 8:00 PM at Lexington High School.

Jared Freni went all ten innings for the Chiefs and struck out eleven. He outdueled Blue Sox ace Matt Karis who went the entire way for Lexington, striking out eight.

Justin Crisafulli knocked in the other two Chiefs’ runs with singles in the first and third innings. Jeff Vigurs drove home Steve Gath, who had reached on an error, and eventually scored on a passed ball when the Blue Sox tied the game up at 2-2 in the top of the fourth.
