Can you imagine being in a foreign country and need help from a doctor but you can’t speak the language well enough to describe your symptoms?

Learn how you can help your Medford neighbors from around the world at an upcoming English At Large Information Session.

Currently, there are over 50 international adults in Medford waiting for your help. Here are the details:

    Part of this “volunteer” opportunity is also clearly stated that they will ask for a $50 voluntary contribution to the organization? Why would a volunteer even be asked to give money to volunteer. From the page link: ” o

    That just really seems wrong, it’s a good concept to assist those for whom english isn’t a primary language or are having difficulties but to solicit money from the very volunteers who make it run just seems wrong.

      I would check with the organization but it doesn’t appear the $50 is mandatory for volunteering; it’s only if you want to become a contributing member.
