Join Hallmark Health System for the largest Stride for Health walk ever on Sunday, Oct. 2 at the TD Garden in Boston, home of the 2011 Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins.
The event kicks off with registration at 8 a.m., continues with a 3K walk through the Rose Kennedy Greenway and Harborwalk before looping back around to the TD Garden for a festival full of music, fun, activities and prizes for the whole family. Proceeds from the fourth annual Stride for Health walk will benefit Hallmark Health’s cardiac and endovascular care.
There are several options to get involved with this year’s Stride for Health walk including donations, registering to walk or becoming a corporate sponsor. Don’t worry if you are unable to make it, as there is also an option to become a virtual walker.
Although the event isn’t until October, the Stride for Health Super Sports Ticket Raffle is already underway. Tickets are $10 each or $50 for six and can be purchased online at www.hallmarkhealth.org, at the gift shops at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital or through the Development Office. The drawing will be held at the event, but you do not need to be present to win. The winner will receive tickets to a Bruins game, a Celtics game and a Red Sox game.
Hallmark Health is the “Official Healthcare Partner of the 2011 Champion Boston Bruins.” The partnership, which began in 2010, is a natural fit for both Hallmark Health and the Bruins. The local healthcare system’s exceptional orthopedic surgeons and premier Bone & Joint Program provides advanced care, treating orthopedic injuries and diseases in people of all ages including those suffering from sports-related injures.
As the official healthcare partner of the Bruins, Hallmark Health and the Bruins conducted various community outreach activities and special healthcare programs in the concourse level of TD Garden prior to select home games last season.
