Business Trick or Treat, Friday, October 28, 3-5pm. West Medford, Salem Street (Haines Square), and Medford Square. For children ages 2-8. Prizes for homemade costumes! Costume categories to be judged will be Princess, Military, Scary Girl, Scary Boy, and Funniest.

Halloween Magic Show Saturday, October 29. 4:00-5:30PM, Grace Episcopal Church, 160 High St, Medford, MA, $10/individual or $25/family. Don’t miss this special performance by members of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Ten magicians, including Doc Rogers, winner of the 2007 New England Magic Close-up Competition, and, Jim Rainho, a professional based in Medford, will perform. You’ll be bamboozled, entertained, and you won’t believe your eyes when you see the magic in this Halloween show! Concession and ticket sales start at 3PM on Saturday, Oct. 29 while strolling magicians entertain you in the lobby. Most of the proceeds will be donated to Grace Episcopal’s Youth Fund, to support interfaith work for its teenage members.

Radio Disney Monster Mash, Saturday, October 29, Meadow Glenn Mall. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes to this fun filled event. This event will run from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and will take place in and around Center Court. Join Radio Disney with music, prizes, games and fun! FREE event for kids 12 and under. Costume contest.

Halloween Fun Run for Grades 5-8, Sunday, October 30- Cancelled due to weather forecast.

Tufts University Halloween on the Hill, Sunday, October 30. Grades K-2. It is our pleasure to invite all Medford and Somerville students in grades K-2 to Tufts University for our annual Halloween on the Hill Celebration to be held from 11am-3pm on Sunday, October 30th. In groups of no more than 15 guided by two Tufts students, your child will tour a haunted house, see a fun-filled show, participate in Halloween-themed crafts, and more! Children will be dropped off and picked up in the Carmichael Hall lounge (see directions). Snacks, but not a full lunch, will be provided, so please send your child with a bag lunch. This is a rain or shine event and while most activities will take place indoors the children will be outside so be sure to include appropriate outerwear. Children are encouraged to dress up for this event. Please fill out the attached permission slip and return to your child’s school as soon as possible or by Friday October 21st!!
