Middle School Parenting Program Begins Wednesday

The Medford Family Network presents “In the Middle:” A Program for Parents of Middle School-Aged Youth Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP)/Tween Workshop, facilitated by Howard Wolfe, LMFT.

Parenting middle school-age youth is a challenging task. Join this series of discussions about healthy adolescent development. We will focus on understanding yourself and your tween; communicating respect and encouragement; promoting social and emotional well-being; encouraging cooperation; solving problems; using consequences to build responsibility and deciding what to do. Handouts are included! Parents will receive a copy of the book Parenting Teenagers.

“I’m looking forward to leading this program–I’ve been using this approach for many years with my own family as well as teaching others about it–and I think it is terrific. Hope you can join us,” said Howard Wolfe.

Seven Wednesdays- May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; June 6, 13. 7:00 pm – 8:30PM, McGlynn Middle School Library (2nd Floor), 3002 Mystic Valley Parkway, Medford.
