Mustang Crew Competes in GBL Championships

On Saturday, April 28, the Medford High School Crew team rowed in the Greater Boston League Championships on the Malden River. The Women’s Varsity 8, The Women’s Varsity 4, and the Women’s JV 4 all finished second in their races.

The Men’s JV 4 and the Men’s Novice 8 finished second in their races. The Men’s Varsity 4 finished third.

This weekend the team races twice. They will row on the Malden River on Saturday, May 5, in the Mystic Valley Sprints hosted by Mystic Valley Charter School. On Sunday the team will race in the Cape Cod Invitational in Mashpee in twos, fours, and eights at the varsity and novice level. Many rowers will double row (row in more than one race) on that day.
