The girls varsity softball team brightened things up with a pink field on a chilly, damp May day that felt more like March. The Mustangs faced talented GBL rival Malden in a special game on Thursday to raise money for breast cancer research. Both teams met at John Brewer’s Tavern on Wednesday night, with the restaurant donating 20% of supporters’ tabs to the cause.
