Chef Vittorio Ettore of Medford’s Bistro 5 has selected peaches to be the star of the restaurant’s latest tasting menu.
“This menu highlights diverse items married with peaches, allowing each dish to highlight the beloved summertime fruit,” said a statement from Bistro 5, which is located in West Medford Square.
According to the restaurant, the menu uses local items from Wild Rhody, Write Locke Farm in Winchester, staff members’ home gardens, and Bistro 5’s own window box.
Diners can choose to enjoy a fixed price three or five course menu, each with an optional wine pairing.
The peach tasting menu includes peach gazpacho, peach risotto, baked peaches, lamb, and fish.
The menu is available every Tuesday through Saturday, 5-10PM, until August 11.
