Football Begins at a New Hormel Stadium

The Medford Mustang football team opened up their season and christened a newly renovated Hormel Stadium with a practice game against Arlington Catholic on Friday night. Hormel is now home to an artificial turf field and a new track, thanks in part to a $500,000 grant from a program of the Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs to improve open space and recreational facilities in the state.

The Mustangs’ first official home game is Friday, September 14 at 7:00PM against Newton South. Medford is on the road on September 7 at Revere.
