Tufts University Department of Music Presents Bless his Holy Name, a Concert by Tufts Third Day Gospel Choir November 16

The Tufts University Department of Music presents the Tufts Third Day Gospel Choir in a performance entitled “Bless His Holy Name.” The concert will be held in Cohen Auditorium in the Aidekman Arts Center at Tufts University on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 8 p.m.

The Aidekman Arts Center is located at 40 Talbot Avenue on Tufts’ Medford/Somerville campus. Tickets are $7 for general admission. To purchase tickets, please call the Granoff Music Center Box Office at 617.627.3679.

Tufts University Department of Music Presents the Tufts Chorale in the World Beloved: a Bluegrass Mass by Carol Barnett November 18

The Tufts University Department of Music is pleased to announce The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass by Carol Barnett by the Tufts Chamber Singers and Concert Choir on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 3 p.m in the Distler Performance Hall at the Perry and Marty Granoff Music Center. The performance will feature the Tufts Chamber Singers and Concert Choir under the direction of Jamie Kirsch. Works to be performed include The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass by Carol Barnett, “Ching-a-ring Chaw” by Aaron Copland, “Deep River” by Norman Luboff, and others by Gregorio, Gesualdo, Fonseca, and Whitacre. This concert is presented as part of the Sunday at Tufts Community Concert Series.
