MHS Students Earn Boston Globe Scholastic Art and Writing Awards

Thirteen Medford High School students were recognized with Scholastic Art Awards for their outstanding achievement, according to MHS art teacher Michele MacKenzie. MHS students were awarded 5 Gold Keys, 3 Silver Keys, and 4 Honorable Mentions. In addition, senior Kayla Greeley was awarded the Gold Key for her Portfolio of 8 works of art.

The work of Gold and Silver Key winners will be exhibited at the State Transportation Building Gallery in Boston from February 13-April 20. Gold Key winners will go on to compete on the National level.
