New Adult Dance Classes at Jody’s School of Dance

Some of Springstep’s most popular teachers have found a new home at Jody’s School of Dance, the award-winning ballet and dance school for children. Check out Country Western Line Dance with Julie Kaufmann, Zumba with Emily Brenner, and Latin and Ballroom Social Dance with Dance Caliente’s Eileen Herman-Haase and Raul Nieves.

Mondays at 6 pm you can join the Zumba craze with Emily. Burn some calories to the invigorating beats of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, pop, and more. This session runs Through February 11, with a new session starting February 25. Sign up for the whole session, or come for a single class. For her complete schedule, go to http://zumbayogadancewithemily.webs.com or e-mail Emily at emily.brenner@comcast.net

Also on Mondays, join Julie for some country line dancing, with beginner lessons at 7 pm. After the lesson, there is open dancing, and an intermediate lesson at 8:15 pm. Class is drop-in, so you can come any evening you want. You will always be learning a new dance or two. Check it out at www.jkdance.com and see all the classes she has to offer or e-mail Julie at linedance@jkdance.com.

Wednesdays, Dance Caliente is teaching Latin Club Basics, including Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. Eileen and Raul will help you develop the confidence and know-how to enjoy an outing at any of the salsa clubs or parties in the area. Next session starting March 6 will focus on Salsa. Check their website for more information about all their classes at www.dancecaliente.com or e-mail them at hermanhaase@comcast.net.
