MHS Drama Club Presents ‘Fiorello!’

Musical Will Run April 4, 6, 7

The Medford High School Drama Club is proud to announce this year’s spring musical — Fiorello!. The multi-talented cast will take the stage at the Caron Theater at Medford High School on Thursday, April 4; Saturday, April 6; and Sunday, April 7. All evening performances will take place at 7:30pm with an additional 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday, April 7.

A Tony award- and Pulitzer Prize- winning show, Fiorello! has been called “the greatest musical you’ve never heard of.” It’s the story of New York Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia, who broke the stranglehold of the corrupt Tammany Hall political machine, restoring honest government to the people. Fiorello! is a highly entertaining double love story, and a lively musical tribute to the power of taking on business-as-usual that is especially relevant today.

Tickets for Fiorello! will be on sale March 25. They can be purchased by students during lunch and after school. Tickets will also be available to the public at the door for $10 general admission; $5 for students and seniors. Tickets are half price ($5 general admission; $2.50 for students and seniors) for the Sunday matinee.
