City Council to Review Budget

The Medford City Council is in the process of reviewing the budget for fiscal year 2014, which begins July 1.

Budget hearings are scheduled for June 18, June 19, and June 26, according to information posted on the city website.

The Medford School Committee is holding its own public hearing to review the school budget on Wednesday, June 19.

The entire proposed budget for next year is $144,466,771, which includes $49,283,000 for the public schools and $95,183,771 for municipal services. The current year’s budget is $139,610,534.
