‘Walk for Krystle’ Sunday, June 23

CampbellThe first annual “Walk for Krystle” will take place on Sunday, June 23, at Hormel Stadium in Medford.

The event will benefit the newly established Krystle Campbell Scholarship Fund at Medford High School.

Campbell, a 2001 MHS graduate, was a victim of the Boston Marathon bombing.

The walk will take place at the track from 6:00AM-6:00PM. Participants can walk or run as much as they want. Donations of any amount will be accepted.

Mayor Michael McGlynn and Krystle’s family will be at the event between 10AM and 11AM. Members of the Medford High School community will also be there throughout the day, including the band, sports teams, the student a cappella group, and others.

“Medford Strong” t-shirts, which also benefit the scholarship fund, will be on sale.

The event is rain or shine.
