Football Team Earns Second Win of Season

On Friday night the Mustang football team earned their second win of the season with a decisive 35-22 home win over Revere. Senior quarterback Reggie Thelemaque ran into the end zone three times for Medford, once during his team’s first possession of the game and twice in the second quarter. Up 20-6 at the half, the Mustangs took advantage of fumble recoveries in the third to score another touchdown and to stop Revere’s momentum. Xavier Gibson and senior captain Malik McLaren scored Medford’s final two touchdowns, putting the game out of Revere’s reach for good. Jose Lopes, John Ferrara, and Nick Pellegrini were key in a strong defensive effort. The Mustangs welcome Arlington at Hormel next Friday at 7PM.
