Grace Episcopal Church Hosts ‘Worshipful Walk’ in Fells, Brooks Estate

On Sunday, September 15 at 5:00PM over 35 people joined in a “Worshipful Walk” in the Middlesex Fells with Grace Episcopal Church. The “Worshipful Walk” was part of Grace Church’s series of experiments around starting a new worship service on Sundays at 5:00PM. The Worshipful Walk was a short hike to Wright’s Tower, stopping on the path along the way for prayers, reading from scripture, meditation and finally the Holy Eucharist celebrated at Wright’s Tower. The service is designed to help connect with the experience of God in nature, and help to inspire for the care of creation and the environment.

The next Worshipful Walk will be Sunday, September 29 at 5:00PM at the Brooks Estate. The hike is about a mile. Meet at the gate of the Medford Brooks Estate. Park on Grove St and meet at the gate at 275 Grove St. All are welcome to join and participate.
