MHS Marching Band to Host Competition Saturday at Hormel Stadium

MHS Marching Band

The Medford Mustang Marching Band is hosting its first NESBA Marching Band Competition this year! NESBA is a Marching Band competition circuit in which bands from around New England come to perform their music for the crowd, watch other bands, receive awards, and more!

Billerica, Milford, Melrose, Wakefield, Reading, and of course, our very own Medford Mustangs, will be performing artistic field shows Saturday, October 12th, at 6:00 pm at Hormel Stadium in Medford. In hosting this event, the band is going to have a 50/50 raffle and sell concessions, so you won’t go hungry while watching the bands that will come to perform.

The Mustangs are off to a strong start this season. Their first week in competition at NESBA Malden the Medford Mustang Marching Band took second place in division two and also won Best Colorguard. Last Saturday, at NESBA North Andover, they took first place in division two and also won Best Colorguard and Best Percussion!

We hope you come and support your Mustangs on the field! Go Medford! More information about the Medford Mustang Marching Band can be found on the band website http://medfordband.wordpress.com.
