The Mustang football team smashed a losing streak with a huge come-from-behind win at Belmont on Friday night. The final score was 36-29, with Medford piling on thirty unanswered points for the victory. The Mustangs are at Revere November 15 and will finish the season at home when they face Malden for the 126th Thanksgiving game.

Medford was down 29-6 heading into the fourth quarter and went on a tear, scoring thirty points to win the game.

“t was one of the most amazing comebacks I have ever been a part of. Most teams would have packed it in at that point, especially after letting up a kick return for a touchdown, but our guys kept their heads in it and battled back for the win,” said Head Coach Jason Nascimento. “Everyone played a fantastic game, it was truly a team effort. I’m really proud of the kids for never quitting and displaying how mentally tough they can be.”
