Councilor Caraviello Donates 60 Turkeys

Rick CaravielloOn November 21, 2013, Medford City Councilor Rick Caraviello donated 60 Thanksgiving turkeys to those less fortunate in the city of Medford. This marked the third consecutive year that Caraviello has generously donated to the underprivileged in the community.

The donations were made to the Saint Raphael’s Food Bank, Saint Francis’ Food Bank, the Battered Women’s Shelter in Medford, and the Veterans Services of Medford.

“There are a lot of people, who, unfortunately, cannot afford a turkey or have to work a lot of hours to provide for their families,” noted Caraviello. “Thanksgiving is a day spent with family and friends, and I hope that donating these turkeys made it a more memorable and enjoyable day.”
