Medford’s elected officials will be sworn in on Sunday, January 5, 2014. A public inauguration ceremony is being held at 1:00PM at Medford City Hall. Mayor Michael McGlynn, pictured above at the inauguration of 2012, is being sworn into his fourteenth consecutive term. He is the state’s longest-serving mayor. Each member of the School Committee was re-elected, and Adam Knight will be sworn into his first term as City Councilor.
