Mystic Valley Area NAACP to Hold Youth Event

The NAACP believes strongly that future leaders must be developed. Currently more than 30K young people representing 600+ Youth Councils are actively involved in the ongoing fight for civil rights. Come learn about your local NAACP branch and about leadership opportunities locally, regionally and nationally.

Youth under 25 and their parents are invited to attend. The event will include leadership training, community service, and civil rights advocacy. It is taking place on Sunday, January 5 from 1:00-2:30PM at the West Medford Community Center, 111 Arlington Street, Medford.

Guest speakers include Mystic Valley branch President Attorney Neil Osborne, Everett High School Vice Principal Omar Easy, and NEAC Youth Advisor Zane Crute.
