Snow, Cold Coming to Medford Tuesday, Wednesday

Snow Emergency in Effect as of 6PM Tuesday, Medford Public Schools Closed Wednesday

Cold temperatures and snow will be coming to Medford and the area on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for 1PM Tuesday for twenty-four hours. Snow is expected to begin falling late Tuesday afternoon and continue through Wednesday morning. Medford could end up with four to nine inches of snow.

The cold temperatures will result in light, fluffy snow. Temperatures will remain in the teens for the rest of the week. Wind chills for Tuesday and Wednesday could also dip below zero.

A snow emergency has been declared in Medford as of 6PM Tuesday for twenty-four hours. That means parking on the odd-side only on most streets and no parking on designated central arteries.
